This site sets out the ways in which Eva and I have created and maintained a long term relationship over the last 35 years. When we started out we were not promising material. We argued and fought for the first two years we were together. However we adopted a number of strategies and principles that enabled us to work through the mess and end up in an idyllic place. We still confront issues between us and continue to deepen our love and contact – and best of all the sex continues to be more intense, more exhilarating and exciting. Our aim in sharing our processes and principles is to help others achieve what they want in their intimate relationship.
Navigation:
It is best to use the drop down menus that are at the top of each page because the menus are organised in a way that guides you to the next relevant item. In contrast the Quick Access list of pages to the right of this text is organised alphabetically. This makes it easy for you to find the page you are looking for, but the sequence of pages is often misleading. Also be aware that there is a lot of material on the site. If you become fed up with reading on screen there are options in most places to download a Word file that you can print and read at your leisure; a summary of these is included in the Download page which is under the About menu.
What do you want?
Most people only search out material on how to manage a relationship when they are in trouble. If you are in this category go straight to the Crisis Handling menu and follow the route suggested there. The next most common time for people to want to make use of relationship material is in the early stages of their relationship. If this corresponds to your interest then I suggest you start with the Principles section and follow your interest from there. The final group of people that I envisaged using this site are those who have been in a relationship for quite a time and would like to find a way to deepen their connection to each other. This often happens as children grow up and leave home. If you are in this category then I suggest you start with the section on the Relationship Path.
